Our hotel is located in one of the most beautiful and tranquil places in Austria. Placed in a breathtaking mountain landscape, our hotel is situated directly on the highest swimming lake i n the Alps: the Weissensee – a natural paradise!

Since the 1940s, as a small family business, we have been providing our guests with unforgettable days in both summer and winter.

Activities – in and around the house

If you're in the mood for some activities, we offer free use (subject to availability) of our bicycles and rowing boats to explore the Weissensee from a different perspective. Table tennis and badminton rackets are also available upon request. Our small but fine fitness room can, of course, be used free of charge by our hotel guests.

And if the weather isn't that nice. .. in our cozy library you'll find a wide range of books, a large TV with DVD player and a small play area for our younger guests. A colourful selection of films is available at the reception – even allowed on sunny days ;-)

Pure relaxation waits for our guests in our small wellness area with sauna and steam bath... and afterwards, it's straight from the jetty into the lake!

Summer

Summer vacation at Weissensee is simply incomparable. The highest swimming lake in the Alps has drinking water quality and its white shore gives it its name. Our hotel has direct lake access.

Winter

Our ski area is ideal for families. Countless cross-country trails delight both sport and leisure skiers. Extensive hiking trails lead into almost untouched winter landscapes. The absolute highlight is Europe's largest natural ice surface, the frozen lake!

Rooms

Our generously equipped rooms, almost all with lake view, are a popular retreat. The natural materials make them homely and cozy. Free Wi-Fi ensures a perfect connection to the outside world, just in case it is needed… ;-)

Dogs

For years, "hotel-experienced" four-legged friends have been warmly welcomed – at no extra cost. A large, separate part of our beach is reserved exclusively for dogs and their owners. From there, it's straight into the refreshing lake, if desired.

Weddings

What the most beautiful day in a person's life is, everyone must decide for themselves. Many bridal couples choose our hotel as their wedding location. Ceremony on the beach, wedding banquet in the hall. We ensure an unforgettable celebration with much love and care.

Culinary

Junior chef Victoria leads the kitchen, delighting our guests in the evening with tasteful 5-course menus, and our service staff ensures the appropriate wine pairing.

"A perfect stay... We'll be back! We spent a wonderful week here at this hotel by the lake and were thrilled. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, the afternoon cake was simply sensational, and the four-course dinner left nothing to be desired—a real culinary highlight every time. We would particularly like to mention the owner, Mrs. Berger, who takes incredible care of her guests. Her daughter is an excellent cook and spoils guests with her delicious creations.
